The Studio is equipped with a queen-size bed and a sofa bed that folds out to a double bed if needed. If you require a porta cot for your child, this is available on request. Good quality linen is also provided for your stay as well as beach towels for when you wish to relax in the sunshine on the deck or down at the beach. There is also a dining room table with four chairs plus a desk for your convenience. Studio facilities include all the usual home appliances to make your accommodation totally self-contained and comfortable for your stay. If there is anything else you need, please just ask us as we are here to help you enjoy your stay.

We have lived on Auckland’s North Shore all our lives and especially love living here in Mairangi Bay which has become our home for the past 20 years. We both enjoy meeting people from here in New Zealand and from all over the world, and like to think we can promote our beautiful country. We have both travelled extensively over the years and know what it is like to find accommodation which suits and does not cost a small fortune. We also like to offer our guests total privacy, but we are here if they need us for advice.
Our studio accommodation has been successfully operating for 15 years now (since 2007) and we feel that Mairangi Bay is such a lovely place to live that we want to be able to share it with our guests from around the world.

Mairangi Bay
Mairangi Bay located on Auckland’s North Shore is a fabulous place to live and holiday. Unwind with a stroll on the beach any time of year, wine and dine at fantastic restaurants only a few doors away. If you’re feeling adventurous you could go walking, running, biking, hiking, fishing, paddle boarding or swimming. There are also a couple of parks you can explore just a short stroll away. Mairangi Bay is a safe family friendly community that suits travellers from all walks of life. Come and experience this beautiful place we call home.

Sight Seeing
Get acquainted with our charming little bay as well as neighbouring Campbells Bay and Murrays Bay. Or take a drive into the big city of Auckland.
Less than a 200 metre walk to Mairangi Bay Beach which is a safe swimming beach (great for families). Occasionally there is big surf so located right on the beach is the Mairangi Bay Surf Lifesaving Club.
We are located only two doors up from Mairangi Bay Village Shopping Centre where there are plentiful shops to stock up on supplies for your stay and an abundance of cafes and restaurants available if you just feel like relaxing and enjoying a meal.
Beautiful coastal walks from Mairangi Bay to Murrays Bay (Sailing Club) and Campbells Bay in the opposite direction. Both these walks are approximately a 10 minute stroll each way. We are very lucky in the East Coast Bays as there are many beautiful beaches along this coastline that you can visit by foot or public transport easily.
For the parents out there, we also have Mairangi Bay Children’s Playground, located on Sidmouth Street. The playground is fully fenced so safe for the little ones to enjoy.

Pupuke Golf Club is very popular and has fantastic views of the picturesque Hauraki Gulf.

Transport
When in Auckland it is preferable to have a car as transport but not necessary. If you do not wish to hire a car then here are some other good options of transport.
Public Transport – On main bus route, Browns Bay (10 mins), Albany (30 mins), Takapuna (20 mins), Auckland City (30-40 mins off peak).
Shore Shuttle & Rentals – offers airport transfers
AT – Journey Planner – This is a good website to check out if you are wanting to get around Auckland by Public Transport or if you are driving and wanting to know where carparks are etc. You can also see live where there is roadworks so if you are on a timeframe getting to the airport you may be able to divert and avoid the traffic.
Uber Rides – from Auckland Airport – approximately NZ$80.00 each way.

On your arrival, please park your vehicle in front of the large white doors. Normally we will be here for you at check-in, but if not, we will mutually arrange with you where a door key will be placed.

Check out no later than 10.00 a.m. – or later subject to availability.

If you must cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, we would really appreciate it if you gave us as much notice as possible so we can advertise again and not lose our valued business.
